Before You Place Your First Bid

Know the Terms
All auctions placed on CayMark Auctions are final. Before placing a bid please understand that full payment is expected to be paid by the winning bidder.

Payment Deadline
After winning, all buyers are required to complete payment within 72 hours of receiving an invoice.
Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in account restrictions or suspension.
Understanding Security Deposits
A security deposit increases your bidding power by demonstrating your ability to complete larger purchases. Security deposits help maintain a fair and reliable auction environment by ensuring buyers are financially prepared to participate in higher-value auctions. By increasing your approved bidding power, security deposits allow you to confidently bid on more expensive vehicles and participate in multiple auctions at the same time.
Great news: All buyers may bid on vehicles valued at up to $2,000 without providing a security deposit.
For total bids exceeding $2,000, a refundable security deposit equal to 10% of your intended bidding amount is required before participating. This increases your approved bidding power, allowing you to participate in multiple auctions.
Security Deposit Protection
Security deposits do not apply toward the purchase price of a vehicle and are refundable provided your account remains in good standing and continues to comply with CayMark Auctions' Terms & Conditions.
After You Win An Auction
Winning is just the beginning. Here's what happens next.
Receive Your Invoice
You'll receive an invoice shortly after the auction closes.
Complete Payment
Submit payment within 72 hours to secure your purchase.
Coordinate Pickup
Arrange pickup or transportation directly with the seller using CayMark Auctions' secure Messaging Center.
Vehicle Transfer
The seller will transfer the vehicle along with all applicable ownership documents.
Enjoy Your Purchase
Complete the transaction and enjoy your new vehicle.
Responsibilities As A Buyer
Completing payment within the required 72-hour timeframe.
Inspecting the vehicle upon collection and taking photographs for your personal records.
Arranging vehicle pickup or transportation with the seller.
Keeping copies of all purchase documents for your records.
Confirming you receive all applicable items included with the sale, such as keys, registration documents, title, bill of sale, owner's manuals, and any additional documentation where applicable.

Important Auction Rules
Please read and understand the following rules before participating in any auction.
Identity Fraud
Using false information, stolen identities, fraudulent documents, or unauthorized payment methods to register an account or participate in an auction is strictly prohibited. CayMark Auctions reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts and may report suspected criminal activity to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Vehicle Collection
Buyers are responsible for arranging pickup or transportation after payment has been completed. Failure to collect your purchased vehicle within a reasonable timeframe may result in CayMark Auctions releasing payment to the seller in accordance with our marketplace policies.
Account Authorization
Bids may only be placed by an individual on their own behalf or by an authorized representative acting on behalf of a registered business. Bidding under another person's identity or without proper authorization is strictly prohibited.
All Sales Are Final
Auction purchases cannot be cancelled due to buyer's remorse. Please review every listing carefully before bidding.
Bids Are Legally Binding
Every bid submitted represents your commitment to purchase the vehicle if you become the winning bidder.
